Frequently Asked Questions

Products

Q. What is the expiration date?

A. Rather than an expiration date, we have a guarantee on the products for 2 years after the manufacture date. This guarantees the potency of the vitamin supplements. Beyond the 2 years, the vitamins may be less potent; however, they do not "expire" unless they are contaminated or stored improperly.

Q. How do I store the powdered vitamins? (Feline T, Canine T, Primal Cal, Crisis Care G.I., Fortifier)

A. Store all powdered vitamins tightly closed in their original container or other airtight container (making sure to properly label with date and product name) in a cool, dry location. For long-term storage, they can be placed in the freezer.

Q. How do I store liquid supplements? (Crisis Care Paste, First Response, Rapid Rehab, Calm)

A. Once opened, store liquid supplements in the refrigerator.

Q. How do I know a supplement is no longer safe to use?

A. If the consistency of the product has changed drastically (powder becoming hard like a rock, liquids having oil separation that does not mix back in), or if there is a fowl odor, please discard the product.

Q. I have a [insert animal], how much do I feed them?

A. Please use the charts on each product to determine the appropriate amount of vitamins to feed your particular animal. Use this as a starting point, always feed to effect, monitoring body condition and adjusting as needed. We recommend working closely with your veterinarian or veterinarian nutritionist to determine the best body condition for your animals.

Q. How do I transition to a raw diet?

A. All animals are individuals and changing their diet requires individualized attention. As a recommendation, start by offering small amounts of cooked or raw meats to gauge the animal’s interest. Slowly replace the original diet with more and more fresh meat while adding small amounts of Feline T or Canine T as tolerated. The transition could take anywhere between a week to 6 weeks. If your animal refuses to eat the raw diet, go back a step until they are eating again and spend more time building tolerance. It can be difficult to switch away from a commercial diet, because they are made to be so tasty! Be patient, stick to a routine, and keep it fun!

Q. My cat is between 10 and 50 lbs, how much Feline T do I feed them?

A. We recommend starting with a rounded scoop of Feline T and as much food as the cat can eat to maintain a healthy bodyweight.

Q. What is the difference between Fresh+Oasis Feline T and Wildtrax?

A. In the beginning, orders for Feline T were fulfilled by our manufacturer and came with their contact information. Wildtrax bought this product, then called the manufacturer to have a product made for them based on our formula. Wildtrax’s formulation includes “brewer’s yeast” as a filler to make the product cheaper. Brewer’s Yeast is a known allergen and can cause intestinal upset. Wildtrax breeds their own exotic cats. Fresh+Oasis does not breed animals of any kind. Fresh+Oasis offers a wide variety of supplements for Feline and Canine species.
